How to make extremely healthy weight loss friendly oatmeal pancakes :
You will need :
1 cup of normal rolled oats.
2 egg whites + 1 egg yolk.
1 scoop of whey protein powder (click here to order affordable high protein powder today !)
2 teaspoons of cinnamon.
1 teaspoon of honey.
0.1 L fresh milk (optional if you don’t like to add milk you can choose to add 4 scoops of the whey protein powder + 0,05 L of fresh water)
optional : 1 banana or apple chopped in small to small cubes or slices.
1 :Putt all the above listed items in a large bowl and mix untill everything becomes a smooth liquid pancake batter.
2 :Take a large round frying pan and spray it with some none-stick butter. (optional if you don’t like to use butter you can also add 1 large tablespoon of olive oil.)
3 :Turn on the heath and set it to medium.
4 :Add all of your pancake mix to your pan. To get the best tasting pancake it is very important that you make this with as much of your batter at once in a large round(shallow) frying pan.
5 :Spread your batter in the pan to around 1.5CM in thickness.
6 :Keep your batter moving by slightly turning it with your spatula until the bottom starts to harden. This should take around 45 seconds.
7 :Once the bottom of your pancake is solid enough to be flipped, flip your pancake and let it fry on the other side for another 75 seconds.
8 :Keep flipping your pancake every 10 seconds until golden brown on both sides.
9 :You delicious oatmeal pancake is now ready to eat 🙂 Enjoy !
Weight loss tip ! : This recipe will result in a pretty decent sized pancake which can easily be shared between 2 people. You can also divide it in to 2 servings this pancake will stay fresh for about 24 hours in the fridge and can be warmed up nicely in the microwave the next day. 30 seconds on a 800Watt microwave will make your pancake delicious and crispy again! But it’s not recommended to store your pancakes or batter for longer then 24 hours, also it is not recommended to freeze your batter.
